Heather Childers
Heather Childers is an American television news anchor. She was a former anchor for the first hour of Fox & Friends First for Fox News Channel and worked for the organization from 2010 until 2020. She is the current anchor for the show American Agenda on Newsmax TV. Heather Star Childers was born in Hartsville, South Carolina on 7 January 1969. She was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated from Myers Park High School in 1987. Childers went to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and then received a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She began her professional career at WCNC-TV, Charlotte in the 1990s as a reporter and producer. While at WLOS as an ABC affiliate in Asheville, North Carolina she worked at television news stations in Albany and Georgia. In 2002, she moved to News 14 Carolina as an anchor. She was hired by Fox News Channel as a reporter in November 2010. She then became an anchor on the America's News Headquarters (August 2011). She later became an early-morning Fox host.
